| The owners of Capistrano Harley-Davidson, Ray Malzo and Bill Taylor, have been Harley-Davidson dealers for over 15 years. Having become dealers in 1990 by purchasing Harley-Davidson of Santa Ana they subsequently changed the name
to Orange County Harley-Davidson and put their time, effort and resources into modernizing the facility on first street in Santa Ana. As business grew they
continued to put the money back in the business and met with continual growth and success. By 1999 they had outgrown their facility and purchased a new building on the 405 freeway in Irvine.
As they continued to grow as southern Orange County continued to grow they believed that another facility was needed to service the people of lower Orange County. They spent a year looking for a facility in the San Juan Capistrano area. Finally in 2001 a sight in the Calle Perfecto Business Park overlooking the 5 freeway was secured. They opened a SRO (secondary retail outlet) mid year and business took off. In less than a year they convinced the Harley-Davidson Motor Company that a full service dealership was required to meet the needs of customers.
In 2003 they began to make plans to enlarge the facility. Over $600,000.00 was spent and an expanded facility with double the space was completed by the end of 2004. Thanks to the efforts of Ray, Bill and General Manager Ron Keilwitz, the dealership is a great combination of modern technology and nostalgic atmosphere.
